Community Movie - Love Struck

Each year Nevada County Media creates a community movie that is shown in the theater. Various people from the community are the crew and actors. Our film is a musical comedy.

"Love-Struck" unfolds the story of Jerry, a 30-year-old self-professed nerd enchanted by the worlds of video games and comic books. Firmly convinced of a generational curse casting shadows on his luck, Jerry's life takes a tuneful twist when he encounters Emily, a mysteriously carefree woman seemingly immune to his string of misfortunes.

Drawn together by the whimsical notes of destiny, Jerry and Emily find themselves dancing to a unique rhythm that challenges Jerry's belief in the family curse. As their bond deepens, they navigate the harmonious complexities of love, fate, and laughter.

In a surprising turn, "Love-Struck" infuses elements of musical comedy into Jerry's journey. Together with Emily, they embark on a musical odyssey and comedic interludes to challenge the seriousness of their predicament. As they face challenges and embrace the lighthearted side of life, Jerry begins to question not just the generational curse, but the very nature of his fears. The film, with its whimsical blend of romance and musical comedy, celebrates the transformative power of love and laughter.

"Love-Struck" is a delightful tale that underscores the importance of embracing one's true self while singing to the melody of love and laughter. Will Jerry break free from the curse, or will he discover that the true magic lies in the harmony created by two destined hearts? The film promises a symphony of emotions, laughter, and love, proving that sometimes the best way to change one's luck is to dance to a different beat.
